In this idyllic village house, Symm undertook a complete restoration, which also included creating additional space. Local rubble walling stone in lime mortar helped assimilate the additions into the vernacular character of the building.
The interior reflects the elegant simplicity of the exterior. New oak joinery complements the elm and oak of the beams and posts.
