APS Masonry is geared to high volume production of quality-finished limestone and operates from one of the most up-to-date stoneworks in the UK, using computerised stone cutting and profiling equipment to supplement traditional hand crafted skills.
The technology lends itself particularly well to repetitive tasks, from the cutting of hundreds of cubic metres of limestone ashlar blocks for the shell of a new stately home, to the cutting and engraving of hundreds of commemorative paperweights – with everything in between, including cills, copings, finials, flooring and stairs.
…to unique pieces
The same technology is able to produce one-off sculptures from clients’ drawings or to scan an existing piece and produce an identical copy, to be skilfully hand finished by our apprentice trained banker masons.
